Vision boards

A vision board turns what your family hopes for into something you can see every day. Here is how to make one in five steps.

How to make a family vision board

Five steps. One big picture.

1

Get quiet and dream

Sit down with your family. Ask each person what they want for the year ahead and for the years after.

2

Collect what moves you

Gather pictures, words and colors that match those dreams. Magazines, photos and printouts all work.

3

Choose a board

Pick a poster board, corkboard or a digital canvas. Make it big enough to see from across the room.

4

Arrange and glue

Place each dream. Give every family member their own space and leave a center for shared dreams.

5

Hang it where you live

Put it where the family passes every day. Look at it together and talk about one step you can take this week.

DREAM BIG
Make it yours

Every dreamer gets a corner

Give each person their own space and keep the center for the dreams you share. Then talk about it often.
